Susan is Executive Dean for the Bristol Film School and boomsatsuma. She is an experienced TV Producer and a Senior Leader within the Creative Industries and in Higher Education.

An award-winning television producer and director, she spent 20+ years working as a staff producer for the BBC Natural History Unit, BBC Science, BBC Studios and for film and TV companies in Australia. Her work has been shown on BBC, National Geographic, Discovery, she has directed on two BAFTA winning series and has an RTS award for Craft and Innovation. She is also a Co-Director of a small post production facility in Somerset. 

Before joining boomsatsuma, Susan was Head of School at universities in Bristol and in Bath. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
